Josh Lisner is happy to announce that he is currently accepting students. While Josh has a busy schedule, he happily welcomes students who wish to strengthen their musicianship skills and vocal technique.
Due to the current situation of COVID-19, Josh understands that students are looking for musical endeavors. Like Josh, many people find themselves missing the musical aspects of their lives. Josh is happy to say he has confidently taught many lessons virtually and has invested in a studio with top of the line equipment to ensure students receive top instruction.
Voice
With eight years of professional voice study, Josh is confident in his ability to help coach students vocally through there singing. Josh particularly likes working with high school/middle school students who are interested in pursuing a musical life. Whether that simply means singing casually for fun or seeking to pursue a degree in music, Josh is confident in his abilities to ensure growth towards a fulfilling musical life.
Theory and Aural Skills
Throughout Josh’s collegiate career, he has worked most semesters as a theory tutor with Westminster Choir College’s Tutoring Center. In addition to tutoring students, Josh has had the pleasure of holding an instructor position at Westminster Choir College’s Vocal Institute Camp in the summer of 2020. At Vocal Institute Josh was responsible for planning a curriculum for Aural Skills. Josh was happy with the results of this class and was successful in cultivating an environment where students learned and advanced there theoretical knowledge in a fun and supportive environment. Josh was particularly happy with the growth the students made in such a short time and their incredible improvements in sight-reading.
